Time: 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
This course provides the initial EPA/HUD and state requirements for workers and supervisors of de-leading operations in target housing and child-occupied facilities. It meets OSHA Lead Hygiene and Hazard Communication requirements. Additionally, training requirements are completed for compliance with the following OSHA Standards: Respiratory Protection (including fit testing), Fire Extinguisher Use, Fall Protection, and Personal Protective Equipment.
Note: Respirator fit testing may be provided during these sessions for individuals who are medically cleared and clean-shaven in the area of the facepiece seal. If you would like to be fit tested in this class, you must bring your own respirator. Smoking/eating/drinking is prohibited 30 minutes prior to the actual fit tests.
